Write in Markdown. Present in HTML.
A small writing and presenting app for your Mac, built so AI makes your work better instead of doing it for you. Claude suggests wordings and flags sentences, but never rewrites your draft.
Intro price, limited timeFree to trymacOS 15+What's new in 1.0A short tour: write a draft, then present it.
A Markdown editor for drafts that are still changing
Keep the wordings you are unsure about, the sentences you might cut, and the text you already cut. All of it stays in the same file.
The code was not the problem. The handoffs were.
Takes
Claude's wordings sit next to yours. Try each in place, then pick. You can add your own takes to any word, sentence or paragraph too.
Both reviewers were on call that month. We tried a rotation in March, but it never stuck. One reviewer can now approve small changes.
1 ghostedGhosts
Not sure a sentence belongs? Ghost it. It stays in the draft, dimmed, so you can read the paragraph with and without it before you decide.
The Shelf
Text you might want later goes on the Shelf. It is saved in the same file, below a fold marker. Drag a snippet back into the draft when you need it.
Time Machine
Every edit is kept from the first time you open a document. Pick an edit to see what changed, then restore that version or revert just that change.
Claude writes the slides. TinyDesk runs the show.
Decks are plain HTML, so Claude can animate anything a web page can. TinyDesk handles the keys, build steps and presenter view.
Pause after the second point. Ask who has switched tools this year before showing the third.
Edit with Claude
Describe a slide change and Claude makes it in your deck's style. Drop in data, PDFs or images and Claude can use them, like a CSV to chart.
Templates in any look
Describe a look and AI designs a template in it, with sample slides. Or save a deck you like as a template.
“Warm, editorial, cream and forest green, big serif headlines.”The same keys in every deck
TinyDesk owns the keyboard. Slides get enter, leave and step events, so build steps and navigation work the same in every deck. Speaker notes are Markdown, saved inside the deck.
Deck check
Before you present, the deck check flags network requests and slides without notes. Claude can draft the missing notes for you.
Plain files in a folder you choose
Everything lives in your library folder, ~/TinyDesk by default. Takes, ghosts and the Shelf are saved as HTML comments, so other Markdown apps show plain prose. A deck is one .slides file with its HTML and assets inside.
